One of the many benefits of being a member of our Geary Family YMCA is our YAC Room & Child Watch! Our YAC room is equipped with soft play equipment for children ages 4-8 years old during select hours, along with our child-watch area for children 6 weeks old to age 4 in the room next door.
Child Watch: Age 6 weeks – 3 years
YAC Room: Age 4 years – 8 years
- Monday-Friday: 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM
- Monday-Thursday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Summer YAC Room Hours: Starting June 1, 2026
- Monday-Friday: 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM
- Monday-Thursday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Saturday: CLOSED
Our qualified staff will watch the children of members while they work out in the building. This service is offered at NO EXTRA CHARGE to all YMCA members and their children who are also members.
- Please remember there is a 90 minute limit so that others may utilize the childwatch.
- We do not allow outside food or toys in the room.
- If children are feeling sick please keep them home.
- YAC is for members' children up to the age of 8.
- Children must be signed in to the room and picked back up.
