Senior Fitness
Silver Sneakers Circuit
Silver Sneakers focuses on strengthening muscles and cardiovascular ability in an interval style of training. Participants will use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball. A Silver Sneakers chair will also be used for seated exercises and standing support.
Mondays & Wednesdays at 10:00 am with Kristen, in the large gym on the second floor.
Chair Stretch
Chair stretch is based on moves for strength and stretching. A chair will be available for seated exercises or standing support. This class will take place in the large gym on the second floor which has elevator access making this the perfect class for all fitness and ability levels.
Fridays at 10 am with Chong.
Senior TRX
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. This class will be low impact with a focus on strength, balance, and core.
Tuesdays at 9 AM with Kristen, Thursdays at 9 AM with Terah, and at 8 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays with Heather in the Big Gym.
Arthritis Aquatics
Slower-paced exercises that will run you through all of your joints and muscle groups. This is necessary for those with aches and pains of arthritis and other joint pains! This is not a therapy session nor do we claim to make anyone medically better. This class will be held in our heated small pool.
Tuesday and Thursday 4:45 pm-5:45 pm with Marla Holmes
