Club Discovery is the name of our summer day camp program for children who have completed grades K-6. They meet at the YMCA and children are transported to the Lester Fruth Outdoor Center. This program is a great way to keep your child active and moving for the summer. We include daily swim, hikes, crafts, and field trips. A light breakfast is available for those arriving before 8:30AM. A buffet style lunch is served for the noon meal, and a snack is provided after 3:00PM. All children must be picked up by 5:45PM. 

 CLUB DISCOVERY

 For Boys & Girls Who Have Completed Kindergarten – Sixth Grade.  Club Discovery Hours are available Monday through Friday 6:15 AM – 5:45 PM.  Participants may register for single weeks or for the entire summer. Priority is given to participants registered for the entire summer.

Club Discovery Activities: Club Discovery meets at the YMCA and a bus provides transportation to the Lester W. Fruth Outdoor Center on State Route 18.  Participants split into age groups and participate in a variety of theme related experiences.  Highlights include daily swim at the YMCA or Fostoria City Pool and weekly field trips.  Each participant needs to bring a swimsuit and towel each day. Club Discovery operates under our child care license, allowing qualified participants to use ODJFS child care assistance.  A light breakfast is available for those arriving before 8:30 AM.  A buffet style lunch is served for the noon meal, and snack is provided after 3:00 PM.
