Fall Youth Sports

NFL Flag Football League

League for boys and girls in 2nd – 6th grades. All games will be played at Lester W. Fruth Outdoor Center on Saturdays. All players must have a mouth guard to play.

Fees: Members: $30.00, $5.00 discount per additional child in same family

Cheerleading

Cheerleading is for kids ages 4-12.  This is for the kids who wish to learn the basics of cheerleading along with some jumps, chants and cheers.

Summer Youth Sports

Track

This is an instructional traveling team that is for youth age 4-18.  This is a good way for kids to stay in shape and make new friends over the summer.  The meets will take place the end of June through July.  Children will participate in age groups and age appropriate track events.  It takes parent volunteerism to make this program a success.

Golf

The Geary Family YMCA will be offering 45 minute swing clinics, which focus on all skill levels. These one-on-one sessions will teach the fundamentals of golf such as: alignment, posture, grip, and swing plane.  The lessons are also designed to address the full swing, short game, and putting.  The sessions will be offered by appointment. The clinics will be instructed by Sports Coordinator and former collegiate golfer Greg Day.

Cross Country

The Geary Family YMCA cross country team participates in area meets.  Each child will participate in their own age group.  The team will meet for practice at the City Park running varied routs.  All runners need to wear running shoes
